What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver our services: name, company, email address, and facility data submitted via our screening intake form. Our free engineering tools run entirely in your browser — no project data is transmitted to our servers during calculations.

How we use it

To deliver Screening Reports, respond to enquiries, and issue invoices. We do not use your data for marketing without consent. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g. Supabase for platform data, Stripe for payments).

Retention

Project files are retained for seven years in line with professional indemnity requirements, after which they are securely deleted. Enquiry data is deleted after twelve months if no engagement follows.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Contact [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.

Cookies

Our free engineering tools contain no analytics, no cookies, and no tracking. The legacybe.ie website uses standard WordPress cookies for session management only.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always available at legacybe.ie/privacy.

Screening-level outputs

All outputs from LBE tools and Screening Reports are screening-level and indicative only. They are not a substitute for a full site inspection, detailed engineering design, or formal compliance certification. Figures are tiered T1 to T4 with sources named.

No delivery conflict

LBE identifies and quantifies risk. We do not design, specify, install, or commission any retrofit works. We are never on both sides of an engagement.

Professional indemnity

Every Screening Report is personally reviewed and signed by Les Murphy CEng. Professional indemnity insurance is in place. Liability is limited to the fee paid for the relevant service.

Intellectual property

All tools, reports, and content produced by Legacy Business Engineers Ltd remain the intellectual property of Legacy Business Engineers Ltd unless explicitly transferred in writing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
