What we collect

When you use the contact form or join the Glass Engine waitlist: your name, email address, the topic you pick, and, if you give them, your role and your message.

The worked examples and the BER tool run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.

Why we use it

To reply to your message, because you asked us to. For the waitlist, to tell you when the Glass Engine opens, because you agreed to it. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by emailing us.

We do not sell your details or use them for anything else.

Who else sees it

Our website host and our email provider, only so that the site and email work.

How long we keep it

Messages: deleted twelve months after our last contact with you. Waitlist: kept until the Glass Engine opens, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Cookies

WordPress sets only the cookies the site needs in order to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to how we use them, or withdraw your agreement. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.

Terms of use

The worked examples teach a method on made-up buildings. Their figures are rules of thumb and published averages. They are not advice, a design, a survey, a quote or a valuation.

Legacy Business Engineers provides training and software. It does not provide engineering design services.
